From 3 to 7 November 2025, the UK marks Trustees’ Week, an annual celebration of the nearly one million trustees who guide charities and community organisations with integrity and vision. The 2025 theme, “Celebrating the power of good governance” calls on trustees to strengthen governance, accountability, and collaboration in a changing regulatory landscape. For regulated sectors such as health and social care, education, and public services, the parallels are clear: effective oversight, transparent decision-making, and ethical leadership are the foundations of trust.
