Paediatric First Aid - Level 3

This CPD-accredited course supports paediatric first aid knowledge for professionals working in early years and education settings. Employers must ensure that training arrangements, including any required practical elements, meet current Ofsted and statutory framework expectations.

Paediatric emergencies can escalate rapidly, particularly in infants and young children. This course equips learners with structured knowledge in CPR, choking management, anaphylaxis, seizures, meningitis, sepsis and other critical conditions, enabling prompt, confident intervention that can significantly improve outcomes while awaiting emergency services.

The course covers primary and secondary surveys (DRABC and SAMPLE), infant and child CPR, AED use, choking procedures, recovery positions, head and spinal injuries, burns, bleeding and shock, anaphylaxis, asthma, diabetic emergencies, meningitis, sepsis, febrile convulsions, poisoning and extreme temperatures.

No physical copy will be mailed, as all certificates are issued electronically for convenience and instant access.
