Hey friends! I’m back from the trip and pumped to tell you all about it! It was now 5:30 am when I woke up everything was packed and I was ready! I got to school and waited in the large line full of year 6’s waiting to drop off our luggage, bags etc. in our school hall! We also got some time to go outside and run around, get some air or even chat with our friends! When the teachers called us in, we did a quick class register and a name tag check on our luggage!

Coach comforts and the long ride's

We were escorted one by one on the coach, which had the comfiest couches and a new, fresh, working air conditioner—it was perfect! However, the downside was that it lasted approximately three hours, so it was quite boring for about half of the ride.

Jorvik detour - Vikings to dessert delights

Guess what? We didn’t even arrive at the residential accommodation because that was not where our first gift shop or activity was. It was in Jorvik, more specifically, a Viking Museum, which included a 30-minute ride, an artefact museum, and a gift shop! After the fascinating viking adventure, we were shown to our rooms, and we chilled out for a while until we were called out for dinner. Dinner was delicious, and we had a brownie sundae for dessert!

Movie night magic

We then got some fresh air for 20 minutes until movie night! We all sat in lines of 7 to watch Sing (which inspired the play for this year) it was nice to rewatch that film because I can imagine how the other roles can act the character!

It was now bedtime and we went to sleep.
