Young voices - A musical dream
I joined other year 5 and 6 students for the Young Voices concert in January. It was an unforgettable experience, especially seeing Heather Small perform. We practised every Tuesday for this big event at the Resorts World Arena. Music, excitement, and a whole lot of singing!
Preston Montford adventure
March took me on the year five residential trip to Preston Montford. It was a mix of exciting activities and a few challenges, like struggling to sleep on the first night. We stayed in rooms, went for walks, and solved puzzles. It was a real adventure!

Summer Fair fun
In June, we had our Summer Fair. It was a sunny day filled with bouncy castles, fun challenges, and delicious food. My friend and I set up two stalls – a Nerf gun challenge and a quiz. We were at the school netball fields, raising money and having a blast!
Sports Day energy
Late June brought Sports Day, a chance for us kids to sprint, jump, and have fun outdoors. Parents and family came to cheer us on as we competed in various races. It was about getting fit, enjoying the sun, and showing our best moves.

Well-being Week wonders
Mid-June was all about health with our Well-being Week. We made healthy snacks like tanghulu strawberries and oat biscuits. The highlight? A massive 12km walk! It was tiring but rewarding, teaching us about physical and mental health.
Wrapping up 2023
From setting up stalls to singing my heart out and exploring nature, 2023 has been a year to remember. I've learned so much and had tons of fun.
