A Portuguese Christmas adventure

Hey everyone, Jaden here!
My Christmas this year was unlike any Christmas I've had before! Back in England, I'm used to dreaming of a white Christmas with snowflakes and all the cosy, wintry vibes. But this year, it was sunny and warm in Porto, Portugal!

Exploring Porto
No snow or gloomy clouds here - just bright blue skies and a beautiful city filled with ancient buildings by the Douro River. We wandered down cobbled streets, marvelled at cool old houses, and saw statues of super famous people from Portugal's history!
And the Douro River, wow! It's got these awesome bridges and buildings all around it. We felt like we were in a postcard!
Yummy Portuguese cuisine
Now let's talk food - Portuguese cuisine is amazing! It's exactly the kind of yummy stuff I love to eat, and I've been munching away happily. From the famous Pastéis de Nata (Portuguese custard tarts) to the delicious fresh seafood dishes, my taste buds have been in heaven. I even tried the famous bacalhau (salted cod), and it was surprisingly tasty!

Christmas in Porto
Christmas in Porto is different, but in the best way possible. We're exploring new places, trying new things, and making memories as a family. It's been one big, sunny adventure! Instead of building snowmen and having snowball fights, we spent our Christmas day strolling along the beach and enjoying the warm weather. It felt like a summer holiday!
