Based from home, working in your geographical region remotely delivering training on the employers’ premises and other dispersed environments.

Roles and responsibilities

Are you looking to influence and improve patient care through education? There are excellent opportunities for registered nurses with experience in teaching, who are also Resuscitation Council (UK) ILS, ALS, APLS provider or instructor, to deliver structured clinical skills and simulation education. Applicants must have relevant clinical experience in acute or prehospital settings.

You will support members of an outstanding, dynamic, innovative and highly-respected Resuscitation and Clinical Skills training team.

There is excellent scope and opportunity for personal and professional development. Dependent upon your skills and knowledge, the successful candidates' induction will include a period of mentorship and coaching.

Key responsibilities include:

  • The delivery of new and innovative simulation training sessions for medical students on clinical placements
  • Working towards the development and facilitation of competency-based clinical skills training and assessment for doctors in training
  • Assisting in the delivery of all levels of resuscitation training.

Essential requirements

Mandatory requirements:

  • Training/teaching and assessing qualification
  • PTLLS/Award in Education and Training (AET) qualification
  • Recognised qualifications in adult health and social care
  • Occupational competency in adult health and social care
  • Experience in the delivery of Ofqual approved qualifications
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
